Maulden Players
Maulden Players is a friendly and community-focused amateur dramatics group based in Maulden, Bedfordshire. For decades, we’ve been bringing live theatre to our village – from laugh-out-loud comedies and traditional pantomimes to classic dramas and original works.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: to entertain, to involve, and to inspire. What makes us special is that every production is driven by local people, all sharing a love for amateur dramatics. Whether it's our experienced actors or those taking to the stage for the first time, our performances reflect the heart and soul of our community.
Our History
Maulden Players was founded in 1982 by Pat & John Struthers, Norma Elliott and David Lewthwaite.
Our first production was 'Red Hot Cinders' and we have been putting on a mixture of Pantomimes, Plays and Variety Shows ever since!
